Convert any pair on this page. Euro-area names come from the ECB daily reference. Dest currencies the ECB does not list (AED, NGN, SAR and others) come from ExchangeRate-API’s open daily composite. Not a bank selling rate and not a locked PI amount.

HS codes on an FCL PI — who classifies, and what to write

The buyer’s broker still classifies. The factory PI should name a working heading, material, and use — not a lucky six-digit copied from a competitor’s listing.

FOB, CIF, and DDP for containers — dest world or dest China

The unit is a container. FOB and CIF are the working pair. DDP only if someone on the dest side can actually clear and VAT.

CCC / CIQ when the dest is China — lamps, plugs, and food-contact

Inbound to Chinese ports is not “the same container, opposite direction”. Name the SKU family that actually needs CCC or CIQ. Do not promise clearance.

THC, demurrage, and detention — put the days on the PI

All-in that hides dest THC is not all-in. Origin THC, dest THC, free days, and who pays overtime belong on the commercial paper.

Receiving party into China — buyer or import agent · Shanghai, Ningbo, Qingdao, Shekou

Inbound dest party on this lane is the buyer or their licensed import agent, not this platform. HS and CCC/CIQ still apply where the SKU requires it. We do not promise yellow-channel clearance.

CBM vs 20GP / 40HQ — cube before you book

Length × width × height × cartons, in centimetres, against a working 20GP ~28 CBM and 40HQ ~68 CBM. Not a booking.

20GP vs 40HQ load — unit, photos, not a lifestyle shot

Name the cabinet on the PI. Carton drop, bay photo, and weight. Coffee is often 20GP; hotel seating is often 40HQ.

Freight structure — origin THC, ocean, dest THC, not a live rate

All-in without a dest-THC PDF is not all-in. Validity date on the sheet. This is not AIS and not a booking.

ICC(A) on an FCL — quote it, do not pretend to underwrite

Cargo insurance is a named policy. CIF does not magically include ICC(A) unless the PI says so. We are not an insurer.
